IMMIGRATION LAW · CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT
A second citizenship in Grenada, the Spice Isle of the Caribbean.
Grenada’s Citizenship by Investment Programme grants full citizenship to qualifying investors and their families in exchange for an approved economic contribution. Ren Attorneys guides Nigerian and West African clients through every stage, from eligibility and documents to passport delivery.
WHY GRENADA
More than a passport: mobility, family security, and access to the United States.
Established by the Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013, and administered by the Investment Migration Agency (IMA), Grenada’s programme is one of the most established in the Caribbean.
Global travel freedom
Visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to more than 145 destinations, including the Schengen Area, the United Kingdom (with an ETA), Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China
Whole family, one application.
Include your spouse, dependent children, and dependent parents and siblings. Citizenship can also pass to future generations by descent. The best investment for the children.
Invest only after approval
Your qualifying investment is made once the Government has approved your application in principle, so funds are not committed while due diligence is underway.
US E-2 treaty eligibility
Grenadian citizens may apply for the US E-2 Treaty Investor visa to live and run a business in the United States, a separate US process we can help you prepare for.
Keep your Nigerian Citizenship
Grenada recognises dual citizenship, and Nigeria permits its citizens by birth to hold another nationality, so you do not need to give up your Nigerian passport.
Stable, regulated programme
Grenada hosts the new Eastern Caribbean CBI Regulatory Authority (ECCIRA), and its programme is known for strong due diligence and compliance standards.
INVESTMENT OPTIONS

REGULATORY UPDATE · SEPTEMBER 2026
The rules are changing. Timing matters.
Grenada is aligning its programme with the Eastern Caribbean Citizenship by Investment Regulatory Authority (ECCIRA), headquartered in St George’s. Legislation provides for a new physical-presence requirement: a total of 30 days in Grenada within the first five years of citizenship, and at least five days for each dependant in the first year. That requirement has been postponed until ECCIRA is operational and the participating states agree a start date. Applications continue under the current rules for now, but transitional provisions may extend the new requirements to some pending applications. Speak to us before you file.
